Outdoor Encampment Support
Support the basic humanitarian needs of outdoor encampment residents. From food distribution, basic supply collection and distribution, neighborhood communication, and build relationships with unsheltered residents.
Indoor Shelter Solutions
Work to identify and advocate for alternative indoor shelter solutions. With winter fast approaching the need for indoor solutions is imminent. These solutions must address the needs and concerns of people who are currently experiencing homelessness.
Transformative Housing Solutions
Our communities and world find ourselves at an unprecedented crossroads where the need to imagine our systems is more pressing than ever. Collaborate with other community members around ways our housing systems could be transformed and reinvented.
Community Accountability Initiatives
We agree to being accountable for the impact of our actions while assuming good intent. We recognize that at times we will fall short and ask our community to support us by holding us accountable. We seek to ground our accountability in transformative justice.
Legislative/Political Advocacy
Work within existing political and legislative frame works to address the needs, rights and interests of people who are experiencing homelessness in Minneapolis, the Twin Cities and beyond.
Direct Action
Plan or participate in direct action that calls attention to the solutions and needs of people experiencing homelessness.
